Sputtered Iridium Oxide (SIROF)

CV in Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) at a sweep rate of 50 mV/s. Argon has been bubbled through the PBS to remove dissolved oxygen gas.

Electrodeposited Iridium Oxide (EIROF)

CV in Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) at a sweep rate of 50 mV/s. Argon has been bubbled through the PBS to remove dissolved oxygen gas.

Titanium Nitride (TiN)

CV of high-surface-area, fractal titanium nitride in Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) at a sweep rate of 50 mV/s. Argon has been bubbled through the PBS to remove dissolved oxygen gas. The CV is indicative of capacitive charge transfer by charging and discharging the TiN-electrolyte double-layer.  There is evidence of faradaic processes (reduction and oxidation) at the electrode.

Platinum (oxygen reduction)

The effect of oxygen reduction on a platinum electrode is shown by cyclic voltammetry in PBS at a sweep rate of 50 mV/s.
